The heater comprises a heating component (3) that is placed in a recess in the coupling head (1) and covered towards the outside. The recess is precision fitted to the diameter of the heating component such that it is removably affixed to the coupling head. The linear recess is oriented parallel to the faceplate (2) of the coupling head.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Heizung für eine elektrische Mittelpufferkupplung, deren mindestens ein Heizkörper (3) in einer Ausnehmung des Kupplungskopfes (1) eingebracht und nach außen abgedeckt ist. Um den Wärmeübergang vom Heizkörper (3) in den Kupplungskopf (1) zu verbessern und den Aufwand zur Montage und Demontage des Heizkörpers (3) zu verringern, ist die Ausnehmung passgenau zum Querschnitt des Heizkörpers (3) ausgeführt und die Ausnehmung ist derart ausgebildet, dass der Heizkörper (3) nach Fertigstellung der Ausnehmung einschließlich ihres Abschlusses zur Stirnseite in die Ausnehmung einführbar und am Kupplungskopf (1) lösbar zu befestigen ist. <IMAGE>
