[origin: FR2829115A1] The assembly (10), comprises a first compartment (20) forming a reservoir for the product, a second compartment (30) holding an applicator (50) and a cap (60). The first compartment is made with variable volume and contains a sliding piston (80) which moves when pressure is applied to the cap to compensate for the amount of the product used. In variants of the design the piston can be moved by interacting threaded surfaces on the first and second compartments, or it can be made in one piece with the side wall of the second compartment. The applicator is made from a porous material such as a fritted thermoplastic or ceramic, a foam or an elastomer material.
