Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1293605A2] The connecting elements are extruded Al planks (4.1,4.2,4.3) comprising hollow chambers with stiffening ribs and are laid so planks, carriageway (1,2) and rails (5,6) form a level surface. The planks lie between carriageways and rails and rest at their ends on buffers (8.1,8.2). Once extruded, the planks are placed side by side, connected and lengthed to requirement before being laid between carriageways and rails etc, in the rail direction, where they form the sought crossing.
