[origin: EP1295585A1] The method involves filling a supply container (14) with disinfectant, emptying the water from the pipeline system (2,3), removing disinfectant from the supply container whilst simultaneously or subsequently atomizing the disinfectant which is then sprayed into the water pipe (2) and/or air pipe (3). Independent claim describes device with disinfectant supply container and atomizer means which can use a suction nozzle and compressed air flow to produce disinfectant spray.
