Abstract (en)
An apparatus for capping bottles with plastic caps threaded in advance, where the cap screwing head (16,216) is only capable of a rotation movement and not a translation movement, wherein the Pick and Place technique can be used, i.e. the technique of drawing the cap to be screwed onto the bottle (BTL) by the screwing head for the next step of application. In the apparatus the bottle is lifted to the head in the cap screwing step and is moved within the head-cap interface integral with the head by thrust means along an angle plate in the cap drawing step. <IMAGE>
