Abstract (en)
A shuttle-operated embroidery assembly has numerous needles (16) to which the thread (11) feeds from spools (12) via rollers (13). Thread tension drives the rollers and the conical wheels (36) distributed along the roller shaft (33) via a first set of conical wheels (40). The shaft (33) rotation is supported by a drive unit (25), the torque esp. being applied at approx. the shaft (33) mid-point. The drive unit (25) is located beneath the needle carriage (17) on the machine frame (19). The drive train from the drive unit (25) to the shaft (33) incorporates a drive shaft (29) and a gear (30, 31, 34, 36). The drive shaft (29) is located on the front of and passes through a hole in the machine frame. The gear unit has a first conical gear wheel which engages with a second conical gear wheel, which is arranged on the thread roller or thread roller shaft.

Die Stickmaschine besitzt eine Vielzahl von Nadeln (16), zu denen der Nadelfaden (11) von den Fadenspulen (12) über die Fadenwalzenrolle (13) läuft. Entsteht Fadenzug, so bewirkt die in den Fäden (11) entstehende Spannung eine Drehung der Fadenwalzenrollen (13). Diese wirken über die Kegelräder (40) auf die Fadenwalzenwelle (33) verteilte Kegelräder (36) ein und drehen diese. Diese Drehbewegung wird durch ein Drehmoment der Antriebsvorrichtung (25) unterstützt. Diese ist zweckmässigerweise so ausgebildet, dass das gelieferte Drehmoment allein nicht ausreicht, die Fadenwalzenwelle (33) zu drehen, so dass eine Drehung nur erfolgt, wenn ein ausreichend starker Fadenzug vorliegt. Das unterstützende Drehmoment wird etwa in der Mitte der Fadenwalzenwelle (33) angelegt. <IMAGE>
