Abstract (en)
Household-type clothes washing machine with an external water-supply arrangement for letting water into the washing tub, a discharge manifold to which the water outlet pipe is connected, a sleeve connecting the bottom of the tub with said discharge manifold, a recirculation manifold provided between said discharge manifold and the tub. At the end of at least a water discharge phase, the machine carries out an emptying sub-phase in which the washing or rinsing liquor contained in the water outlet pipe is substantially ejected outside. This is obtained after a discharge phase when the level of the liquor in the discharge manifold is at a minimum level, by letting into the tub an additional amount of water so that this is pumped out, thereby releasing from the outlet pipe the water that was previously stagnating therein. <IMAGE>
