The protection device for the valve has a yoke (5) closed at the top with a fixing device (1) for fixing on the compressed gas flask over valve. The yoke can have two vertically divided halves. The yoke has a grip element (6) at the top end which can contain an electronic data carrier such as a transponder.

Die Ventilschutzvorrichtung für Druckgasflaschen weist einen nach oben geschlossenen Bügel 5 und eine Befestigungseinrichtung 1 zur Anbringung an der Druckgasflasche auf. Vorderseite und Rückseite der Ventilschutzvorrichtung sind bis zum oberen Rand der Befestigungseinrichtung 1 offen. Am oberen Bügelende ist vorteilhaft ein Griffelement 6 angeordnet. Die Ventilschutzvorrichtung besteht vorzugsweise aus zwei vertikal getrennten Teilen, die verschraubt sind. <IMAGE>
