The method involves supplying fluid centrally to the mixing region (3, 11) whilst the central fluid supply is surrounded on the outside by a supply of compressed gas which in turn is surrounded on the outside by a flow of liquid. Independent claim describes spray mixer nozzle where fluid pipe (2) opening centrally into mixer region is surrounded at the end by a compressed gas pipe (4) which is surrounded at the end by the fluid-conveying chamber (8).

Bei einem Verfahren zum Einstellen einer Temperatur an einer Sprüh-Mischdüse zur Erzeugung eines Sprühnebels aus einer Flüssigkeit und einem Druckgas wird die Flüssigkeit durch Expandieren des Druckgases in einem Mischbereich (3) außerhalb und/oder innerhalb der Sprüh-Mischdüse zerstäubt und gekühlt, wobei zumindest ein an dem Mischbereich (3) angrenzender Außenteil (5) der Sprüh-Mischdüse von Flüssigkeit, insbesonders von Wasser, innenseitig umströmt wird. Um ein Einfrieren der Sprüh-Mischdüse zu verhindern, wird dem Mischbereich (3) Flüssigkeit zentral zugeführt, welche zentrale Flüssigkeitszuführung außenseitig von einer Druckgaszuführung umgeben wird, die ihrerseits wiederum außenseitig von Flüssigkeit umspült wird (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
