[origin: WO0174288A2] A device for massaging the lower leg, comprising a base pad (2) arranged in an area of the sole and a bubble (1) arranged in the region of the lower leg. A flexible tube-like connection is established between the inner areas of the base pad (2) and the bubble (1). The invention is characterized in that a frame (8) is provided. Said frame can be placed inside the shoe and is associated with a base part (12). At least one side part (13) protruding in an upward direction therefrom is also provided. The bubble (1) is fixed to the side part and the bubble (1) is placed on the frame (8) in such a way that it comes to rest in the ankle-bone area above the perforant vein. The bubble (1) exerts pressure on the leg, when the foot is walked upon, as a result of the weight of the body acting upon the base pad (2).
