[origin: WO0108982A1] An apparatus for rolling a flexible planar item (27) to form a cylinder and inserting the cylinder into a tubular object (26) includes a conveyor (12) and a plurality of rolling and insertion stations (16), which are moved along an endless path by the conveyor. The rolling and insertion stations are arranged to roll and insert the items whilst carried by the conveyor. The apparatus permits rapid automatic rolling and insertion of prizes into tubular objects such as drinking straws to provide a prize delivery system for a promotional campaign.
