Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0188273A1] The invention concerns a construction machine (10) comprising: at least three assemblies (11, 12, 14) having mobile contact with the ground to enable the machine to move over the ground; at least a tool (16) on board the machine to perform an operation on the ground; the three mobile contact assemblies being arranged so as to form an L-shape when the machine is operating, two first mobile contact assemblies (11, 12) being integral with a longitudinal frame assembly (13) of the machine while the third mobile contact assembly (14) is integral with a transverse element (15) linked to the longitudinal frame assembly (13) and extending substantially transverse to said longitudinal frame assembly. The invention is characterised in that articulation means (17) are provided between the longitudinal frame assembly (13) and the transverse element (15), so as to enable relative movement between the transverse element and the longitudinal frame assembly so that the transverse element (15) shifts from one side to the other of the longitudinal frame assembly (13). The invention also concerns the use of such a machine for forming a juxtaposed structure along a direction substantially perpendicular to an existing structure.
