Abstract (en)
[origin: WO02065438A2] The invention relates to a method for representing an image on a stepped surface consisting of at least two partial surfaces, in addition to a staircase on which an image is represented. According to methods known per se, the height of the image is limited by the height of the step. In order to enable larger images to be represented, an eyepoint lying on the sight axis (A) in front of the partial surfaces (11) is selected, divided into partial images (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) which are associated with the partial surfaces (11.9-11.11), whereby the image is projected from the eyepoint (AP) to the partial surfaces (11.9-11.11) and each partial image (10.1-10.3) is represented on an associated partial surface (11.9-11.11).
