[origin: EP1297814A1] A baby feeding teat (8) for dispensing semi-solid feed comprises a body portion (11A) with a mouthpiece (11) at one end having one or more apertures (12A-12C) therein dimensioned to allow the passage of semi-solid feed therethrough when the baby sucks on the mouthpiece (11). Preferably each aperture is an open slot (12) arranged on the mouthpiece (11) so that its cross sectional area increases when the baby compresses and sucks on the mouthpiece (11) to draw the semi-solid feed therethrough. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
