Valve-actuating element (1) for a gas shuttle valve (2) of an internal combustion engine is rotatably arranged about an axis of a hydraulic line (4) having a hydraulic medium-conveying region (5). The hydraulic line rotates about its axis (3) and alternately connects the supply line (7) or the return line (9) to the hydraulic medium-conveying region. <??>Preferred Features: A check valve (8) is arranged on the hydraulic line.

Ventilbetätigungselement (1) für ein Gaswechselventil (2) einer Brennkraftmaschine, das schwenkbeweglich um eine Achse (3) einer Hydraulikleitung (4) mit einem Hydraulikmedium führenden Bereich (5) angeordnet ist, wobei von der Hydraulikleitung (4) beabstandet ein hydraulisches Spielausgleichselement (6) in dem Ventilbetätigungselement (1) angeordnet ist, das auf das Gaswechselventil (2) einwirkt, und das hydraulische Spielausgleichselement (6) durch eine Versorgungsleitung (7) mit einem darin angeordneten Einwegeventil (8) von der Hydraulikleitung (4) mit Hydraulikmedium versorgt wird, wobei die Versorgungsleitung (7) mit einer Rückflussleitung (9), die zur Hydraulikleitung (4) rückgeführt ist, verbunden ist, wobei die Hydraulikleitung (4) um ihre Achse (3) schwenkbar und abwechselnd die Versorgungsleitung (7) oder die Rückflussleitung (9) mit dem Hydraulikmedium führenden Bereich (5) verbindbar ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung des Ventilbetätigungselementes für ein Gaswechselventil ist auf einfache Weise eine Ventilabschaltung realisierbar. <IMAGE>
