[origin: EP1298693A1] The switching device has a housing (2) containing a multi-pole contact system and a switch closure (7), having a pivoted drive lever (9) coupled to the operating lever (8) of the switching device and acting on the contact system via a knee-lever system (10). The housing has a chamber for reception of an interchangable undervoltage release acting on the switch closure, with an integrated auxiliary switch operated by the drive lever upon reaching the released position between the on position and the off position using the spring force of the closure spring (14).
