The device has an acoustic pick-up for noise-free or noisy acoustic signals, a controler for controling hearing aid parameters and an analyzer for analyzing the acquired acoustic signal for noise signals and providing analysis results to the controler so that the hearing aid, especially individual transmission parameters or entire hearing programs, can be controled based on the analysis results. <??>AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a method of controling a hearing aid.

Zur Verbesserung des automatischen Schaltens und Steuerns von Hörgeräten im Hinblick auf die jeweilige Hörsituation wird vorgeschlagen, das vom Hörgerät aufgenommene Akustiksignal nach Störsignalen zu analysieren. Das Steuern des Hörgeräts erfolgt dann anhand der analysierten Störsignale. So können einzelne Übertragungsparameter oder ganze Hörprogramme des Hörgeräts gesteuert bzw. geschaltet werden. <IMAGE>
