[origin: WO0206602A1] The invention relates to a structural element for sealing and insulating flat roofs. Said structural element comprises a support structure (1) which gives the structural element (10) static stability, at least one insulating layer (4, 5) which is held in place by the support structure (1) and which provides cold, heat and sound insulation; and a water-impermeable, weathering-resistant roof sheet (2) which outwardly seals the structural element (10). According to the invention, the at least one insulating layer (4, 5) and the roof sheet (2), together with the support structure (1), are provided in the form of a composite element which makes up a single unit.
