Method involves feeding a bundle of bristles (3) surrounded by a sleeve (2), packaging, etc. to a bristle magazine (4), removing the sleeve, and further processing the bristles, especially transporting the bristles to a bristle compartment (8). The sleeve is cut through at two points a distance apart and the resulting parts (2a, 2b) of this sleeve are removed from both sides of the magazine. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the above process.

Zum Herstellen von Bürsten, insbesondere von Zahnbürsten werden zunächst von einer Umhüllung (2) oder dergleichen umschlossene Borstenbündel (3) in einem Borstenmagazin (4) aufgeschnitten, so dass die Umhüllung (2) entfernt werden kann. Dabei wird diese an zwei beabstandeten, insbesondere einander gegenüberliegenden Stellen durchgeschnitten und die dadurch entstehenden beiden Teile (2a) und (2b) der Umhüllung (2) werden nach zwei entgegengesetzten Seiten des Borstenmagazins aus diesem entfernt. <IMAGE>
