Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1300180A2] The fastener device for securing the front section of the shoe to the roller unit comprises at least pivot lever (5) extending essentially perpendicular to the roller unit length axis. The lever is kept in the open position by a spring, preferably a torsion spring, where the free end (9) of the lever is at a distance from the mounting plate (3) for the shoe to rest on. The lever can be moved into a closed position inside a caviry (12) in the underside of the sole of the shoe, inside which is a bolt extending essentially perpendicular to the shoe length axis. The lever grips around the bolt when it is in the closed position. <??>The mounting plate for supporting the shoe includes a front section, a middle section and a heel section, each of which includes a fastener for securing the shoe to a roller and/or slide unit. Independent claims are also included for (a) a foot-operated pedal (27) with a fastener device for securing the pedal to the front section of a shoe, the fastener device comprising the above lever pivotally mounted on an axle fixed to the pedal, and (b) a shoe for the roller unit or pedal, containing a cavity in the underside of the sole in the front section for receiving a pivot lever, which can be fixed inside the cavity by a bolt also located inside the cavity and extending essentially perpendicular to the shoe length axis.
