Abstract (en)
The assembly for cutting padded packaging materials, in at least two layers, has a base plate (1), a fixed blade (2), and a moving blade (3) over the base plate. A drive operates the moving blade. The base plate has a shaft (6) for the packaging material feed. <??>A retainer (5), with a support surface (22) to hold the material in place during cutting, is positioned over the fixed blade by a holder (23) so that the support surface is flush with the cutting edge (17) of the fixed blade.

Die Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von polsterartigen Verpackungsmaterial aus einem mindestens zwei Lagen aufweisenden, bahnförmigen Vorratsmaterial weist eine Grundplatte (1), ein feststehendes Messer (2) und ein bewegliches Messer (3), die oberhalb der Grundplatte (1) angeordnet sind sowie eine Antriebsvorrichtung für das bewegliche Messer auf. Die Grundplatte (1) ist mit einem Schacht (6) zum Zuführen des Verpackungsmaterials verbunden. Die Antriebsvorrichtung ist antriebsmässig mit dem beweglichen Messer verbunden. Es sind ein Gegenhalter (5) mit einer Stützfläche (22) zum Abstützen des Verpackungsmaterials beim Schneiden und ein Mittel zum Halten (23) des Gegenhalters (5) oberhalb des feststehenden Messer (2) vorgesehen, das Ganze derart, dass die Stützfläche (22) mit der Schneidkante (17) des feststehenden Messer bündig ist. Mit Gegenhalter wird in vorteilhafter Weise das Schneiden verbessert und Papierstaus vermieden. <IMAGE>
