[origin: EP1300633A2] Oven door has two glass or glass ceramic panels (2,3) spaced apart, transparent front panel (2) and shaped inner panel (3) facing loading opening. Inner panel has linear base (3a) with both sides of 30 to 40 mm (3b,3c), angled at 45 to 60 degrees. Angled section compensates for distortion due to heat, so oven door lies snug to oven muffle or muffle sealing.
