Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1300647A1] The system has an identification device carried by the user with a sensor for entering an identification code, a memory and a transmitter. If the code is correct the transmitter sends an activation signal to a weapon receiver ad continues to transmit to the receiver to maintain activation. To prevent deactivation by a noise source the receiver controls a processor that maintains activation only depending on the strength of the received signal. <??>The system has an identification device (2) carried by the user with a sensor for entering an identification code, a memory in which the code is stored and a transmitter. The weapon contains a receiver (17). If the code is correct the transmitter sends an activation signal to the weapon and continues to transmit to the receiver to maintain the activation. To prevent deactivation by a noise source the receiver controls a processor (18) that maintains activation only depending on the strength of the signal received by the receiver.
