The base of the foot (2) and the upright column (1) of the foot are square. The square column contains a nut with a female thread, running on a spindle with a top plate (10) with a flat surface (10a). <??>Two spigots (11) protrude from this surface and there is a central threaded bore (12). There is a detent mechanism between this plate and the male thread on the spindle. The detent has a spring with its end engaging in vertical grooves in the spindle. An upper housing (18) surrounds the top of the spindle.

Ein höhenverstellbarer Möbelfuß weist ein an einer Möbelunterseite befestigbares, mit Außengewinde versehenes Gewindezapfenteil (8) auf, das in ein Innengewinde (4) eines Mutterteils (3) drehbar eingeschraubt ist. Das Mutterteil (3) ist in ein im Grundriss quadratisches rohrförmiges Fußunterteil (1) eingesteckt und daran axial abgestützt. Ein Abschlusskragen übergreift das obere Ende des Fußunterteils (1) teleskopartig. Das Mutterteil (3) ist mit dem Gewindezapfenteil (8) in Drehschritten von vorzugsweise 90° verrastbar. Das Gewindezapfenteil (8) weist zwischen dem Außengewinde (9) und einer Befestigungsstirnfläche einen Zapfenabschnitt (13) mit mehreren längsverlaufenden Rastnuten (14) auf, in die eine am Mutterteil (3) nach innen vorspringende Rastzunge (15) federnd einrastbar ist. <IMAGE>
