Abstract (en)
Manufacture of a pouring or orifice tube in which a cylindrical metallic ferrule (3) is mounted on a support (4) involves coaxially positioning an internal tube (5) with respect to the ferrule, filling the annular space between the tubes with an effectively dry refractory-sintering compound, and heating the assembly to harden the composition and or remove all traces of water. The effectively dry refractory-sintering compound comprises a dry binder that self-hardens or hardens when heated. The internal tube used in manufacture is of refractive material, e.g. self-pouring refractive concrete. An Independent claim is given for the manufactured pouring or orifice tube.

On installe sur un support (4), en position sensiblement verticale, une virole métallique (3) sensiblement cylindrique et, à l'intérieur de la virole métallique (3), sensiblement coaxialement à celle-ci, un tube interne (5) de forme sensiblement cylindrique. Puis on introduit entre la surface extérieure (6) du tube interne (5) et la surface intérieure (7) de la virole métallique (3) une composition réfractaire frittable sensiblement sèche comprenant un liant minéral sensiblement sec durcissable à la chaleur ou auto-durcissable. Enfin, on chauffe l'ensemble pour faire durcir la composition durcissable et/ou pour éliminer toute trace d'eau. <IMAGE>
