Abstract (en)

A thread splicing assembly (10) has a splice channel with a compressed air inlet. The assembly has esp. two rotating prisms (27, 28) which each turn from a thread pick-up presentation to a splice presentation. Together the two prisms form a splice passage (44). <??>One or both of the prisms has a compressed air inlet (42). The prisms are pref. identical. Each prism has an air distribution passage from which two compressed air inlets branch off and enter the splice passage at a tangent. Each prism has a detachable cover (30) with a convex seal interface seal and an air connector. The prisms are driven by a step motor (27, 28) linked to a computer.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fadenspleißvorrichtung mit einem druckluftbeaufschlagbaren Spleißkanal zum pneumatischen Verbinden zweier Fadenenden. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß die Fadenspleißvorrichtung (10) zwei drehbar gelagerte Prismenteile (27, 28) aufweist, die jeweils zwischen einer Fadenaufnahmestellung (I) und einer Spleißstellung (II) verschwenkbar sind, wobei die beiden Prismenteile (27, 28) so ausgebildet sind, daß sie in der Spleißstellung (II) zwischen sich einen Spleißkanal (44) bilden. <IMAGE>
