A paper-making mill (10) surrenders a moving web which is fed to a gap (E) sandwiched between two moving looped cables (18, 20) which come together in a scissor-grip (26). The angle subtended by the two cables at the scissor-grip point (E, 26) is adjustable with respect to the horizontal plane. The scissor-grip position is vertically adjustable. Irrespective of the scissor-grip (26) position, the two cables are guided between wheels whose position as adjustable in the direction of web motion. The assembly further incorporates a web position sensor regulating the guide wheel position.

Eine Maschine (10) zur Herstellung oder Behandlung einer Materialbahn, insbesondere Papier- oder Kartonbahn, umfasst eine Seilführung (16) zum Einfädeln eines Bahnrandstreifens. Die Seilführung weist zwei endlose Seile (18,20) auf, die zur Bildung einer Seilschere (26) zusammenführbar sind und deren Laufbahn zur Positionierung der Seilschere in einer Einfädelposition (E) innerhalb einer sich in Maschinenlaufrichtung erstreckenden, zur Materialbahn senkrechten Ebene entsprechend veränderbar ist. <IMAGE>
