[origin: EP1302737A2] The dryer (100) comprises at least a first segment (126) in which more than half the amount of air supplied to the dryer useful room (120) in this segment is supplied through supply nozzles which are set in a first (132a) of the half chambers defined by the longitudinal centre plane (130) of the conveyor contour (131) which extends along the conveyor direction (106). At least one second segment (128) following the first has more than half the amount of air supplied to the user room through supply nozzles which are in the second of the half chambers defined by the said plane. <??>The dryer has several first and several second segments alternating along the conveyor direction.
