Abstract (en)
A fusion bonded automotive heat exchanger includes a header tank (1) having a fitment (10) for fluid connection to an upstream or downstream conduit. The fitment (10) cooperates with an aperture (4) in the header tank (1) and includes a flange (14) abutting an outer surface of the header tank (1) about the aperture (4) and an end (15) projecting beyond the flange (14) and through the aperture (4) in the header tank (1) such that one or more lateral projections (16) abut the internal surface of the header tank (1) about the aperture (4). <IMAGE>
