[origin: EP1302956A1] The position switch includes a head (20) supported on a mounting box (10). The orientation of the head may be adjusted, and is locked by a set of teeth on both the shaft of the head, and the aperture in the mounting box, which may be aligned in a number of possible stepped positions. <??>The position switch includes a head (20) which is introduced into an opening in the surface of a mounting box (10). The orientation at which the head may be introduced into the box is angularly adjustable, in a series of regular steps, in order that the head adopts a required position. The head includes a tubular portion (25) in which a pushbutton slides. A set of regularly spaced teeth (C1) on the outside of the tubular section engage a corresponding set of teeth (C2) on the surface of the box, in order to define the angular position at which the head is set in the box. A fork (15) may be locked by a bolt (33) blocking the head in its assembled position.
