[origin: EP1303008A2] A connector part (14) of an electrical pluggable connector has an electrical contact part (12) partly located in a protective housing (10) comprising a dome-type or raised cover (18) in which is recessed a window (20) and which is defined at one end by a latching element (22) which locks with a latching arm (24). The side walls (26) of the raised cover (18) are also recessed with the window (20).
