Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1303069A1] The frequency hopping (EVF) station is connected with a jamming circuit (3) which has a chirp card (4) whose function is to generate a low power jamming signal (Sb). These are amplified and applied to an output aerial (7), in order to jam communications. <??>The system includes a frequency hopping (EVF) station (1) equipped with an aerial (2). The frequency hopping station is connected with a jamming circuit (3) which has a chirp card (4) whose function is to generate a low power jamming signal (Sb). A radio protection circuit (8) is situated between the aerial (2) and the station. The chirp card (4) receives from the frequency hopper station the information (Isync) for frequency and time synchronization. The low power jamming signal (Sb) is transmitted to a power amplifier (5) in order to produce the output jamming signal (SB) of sufficient power to drive the aerial (7) of the jammer. The system includes a processor for determining the sub-bands to be used, according to those in use by friend or foe.
