Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0206015A1] The invention relates to an electric combination hammer-drill which can either be used as a hammer-drill or chisel hammer. Said hammer-drill comprises the following: a housing (10) and a handle (12) arranged thereon, into which an on-off switch (16) with a switching ratchet (14) is integrated; a switching element (18) for manually switching from drill to chisel mode and vice versa; and a detent device (20, 22), which can be used to lock the switching ratchet (14) in chisel mode and which prevents a locked position in drill mode. The invention is characterised in that the detent device (20, 22) has a detent clip (24) comprising two limbs (28, 30), linked by a joint (26). Said limbs can interact to produce the locking function by means of a blocking element (32, 34), which blocks the joint (26) in at least one pivoting direction and have at least one detent element (36, 38) which can interact with a detent element (40) that in turn interacts with the switching ratchet (14).
