[origin: WO0206624A1] The invention relates to a ram drill comprising a percussion piston (8) that is axially displaceable in a housing, the forward and reverse movement of which is controlled by a control sleeve (3) that is axially impinged upon by a spring and one or more corresponding control openings (11) in the percussion piston. The guide tube (2) for shifting forward mode to reverse mode can be axially displaced between two stops and can be locked by twisting when in position for the forward mode.
