Abstract (en)
The nonwoven ribbon (1), for use as piping at garment pockets, has two parallel reinforcements (2) along its longitudinal line, which are twice the width of the piping. The gap (A) between the reinforcements is twice the piping width. The width (G) of the nonwoven ribbon is 10 times the width (V) of a reinforcement. The piping is shaped by folding the nonwoven ribbon longitudinally with the reinforcements folded at the center.
