Abstract (en)
The tool consists of a plate (10) with holes (11) and a series of angled cutting segments, each with a long (1) and a short (2) side and made from two layers (3, 4) of metal containing fine and coarser abrasive particles respectively. The forward-facing side of each segment is inclined at an acute angle (5) to the surface of the plate (10), and the segments are fitted in at least two different positions - one with their points parallel to the periphery of the plate, and the other with their short sides parallel to its edge.

Meule de surfaçage destinée à l'enlèvement de revêtements sur supports minéraux, constituée d'un corps (10) percé de trous (11) garnie de segments en forme de soc de charrue présentant 2 flancs long (1) et court (2) par rapport à la direction de rotation, constitués de deux couches (3) et (4), la face (3) étant inclinée d'un angle (5) par rapport au plan de base du segment (6). Ces segments sont disposés selon au moins deux dispositions, notamment des segments (8) avec l'axe du profil tangent au cercle passant par la pointe du profil et des segments (9) dont le flanc court est tangent au cercle extérieur correspondant à la périphérie de l'outil. <IMAGE>
