Abstract (en)
The balancing system consists of rows (40) of moving weights linked together in a chain connected to an endless tensioning cable (70) with a drive for moving the weights and a cable tension regulator with moving pulley blocks (73). The weights travel along U-shaped tracks with sides parallel to the sides of the craft, each row driven by at least one powered wheel (60) with cogs engaging with matching notches in the weights.

Le dispositif d'équilibrage permet d'équilibrer facilement les navires de petits et moyens tonnages sans mettre en oeuvre une puissance importante. Il comprend principalement un ou plusieurs trains (40) de masses mobiles (41) montés sur une voie en U dont les branches latérales (50) sont parallèles aux parois du navire, tronçon central (52) étant perpendiculaire à l'axe du navire. Deux roues motrices (60) placées à l'intérieur des tournants du U permettent l'entraînement du train (40) de masses mobiles (41). Application aux navires de faibles et moyens tonnages. <IMAGE>
