Abstract (en)
The sliver drawing unit, for a spinner, has a condensing zone for the drawn sliver before its passes to the spinner. The condensing unit has an especially thin-walled condensing surface (31b), with an elastic flexibility to be distorted against the suction unit (37) at its inner side, by the pressure of a clamping or blocking roller. The condensing unit is a circular cylinder with perforations, bonded at one side to a roller (11c) and with the perforations (40) at the outer surface of the suction unit. The condensing surface lies on the roller at one end and covers the suction unit at the other end.

In einer Spinnmaschine mit einem Streckwerk (1), einer Verdichtungseinrichtung (3) und einer Spinneinrichtung (5) für jeweils ein Faserband (71), wobei mehrere solche Einrichtungen nebeneinander in eine Spinnmaschine angeordnet sind, und mit einem Verdichtungselement (31) innerhalb der Verdichtungseinrichtung (3), welchem Verdichtungselement (31) ein stationäres Saugelement (37) zugeordnet ist, zum Zweck der Abführung von durch das Verdichtungselement (31) in das Saugelement (37) eintretender Luft, besteht das Saugelement (37) aus einer Schale oder einem zylindrischen Teil, auf welchem sich ein über dieses kragender Teil einer kreiszylindrischen Verdichtungsfläche eines Verdichtungselements abstützt. Der zylindrische Teil (31b) bzw. die Verdichtungsfläche kann aus einem dünnwandigen flexiblen Teil bestehen, welches sich auf der ihm zugeordneten Seite eines innenliegenden Saugelements abstützen kann. Das Verdichtungselement ist nur an einer Seite fest mit einer Walze (11c) verbunden. <IMAGE>
