Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0211659A1] The invention relates to a device for moving a person from a first position into an at least second position. The device comprises a base part (1) which is located on the floor and a rotating part (2) which is fixed to said base part (1) in such a way that the former can rotate. Said rotating part comprises at least one first holding part (16), which is located essentially vertically in relation to the rotating part (2) and which is used to temporarily hold a person. The aim of the invention is to provide a simple, rapid device which can be adapted to the respective structural conditions while being highly resistant to tipping and which is as compact as possible. To this end, an essentially flat pivoting part (3) is provided. Said pivoting part is located radially externally in relation to the rotating part (2) and can pivot essentially in the plane of rotation of the rotating part (2).
