Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0204752A1] The invention relates to an above-ground water column (1) comprising a pressure pipe (11) vertically extending from an above-ground junction point (4) of a supply line (5). Said water column also comprises a valve assembly (16) located on the pressure pipe (11), which is covered by a casing covering part (31) and by a downwardly extending casing (29) that can be uncoupled. The casing covering part (31) is motion-connected to an adjusting spindle (25) of a foot valve (9) arranged in the supply line (5), said adjusting spindle being centrically arranged inside the pressure pipe (11). The downwardly extending casing (29) is connected via a coupling device (30) to the casing covering part (31) in a manner that permits it to be coupled. When the downwardly extending casing (29), in which the valve assembly (16) is encased, is in a closed position, a detachable blocking assembly prevents a displacement of the casing covering part (31), which is configured as an actuating element (27), and thus prevents a displacement of the adjusting spindle (25).
