Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0201057A1] The invention relates to the calibration of a pressure sensor in a fuel metering system, which permits the most exact compensation of the pressure sensor. The current cooling water temperature (Ta) of the internal combustion engine is thus recorded and the cooling water temperature drop (dT) is derived therefrom as a measure of the idle time of the internal combustion engine. The pressure sensor is then first adjusted when the idle time exceeds a given minimum amount (dTu).
