[origin: WO0213142A1] A method of generating a CT image of an object, comprising acquiring radiographic images of the object from a number of different angular directions; and processing the images cumulatively, initially from images taken at relatively high angular increments and subsequently adding data from images at relatively lower angular increments to cumulatively build up a reconstructed data set, whereby a data set of progressively higher resolution is obtained and is available for viewing throughout this process.
