[origin: EP1306028A2] A hair dryer with high handiness, which comprises an enclosure (2) with a first portion forming a grip region (3) and a second portion forming an air delivery duct (4) that leads externally. The enclosure (2) accommodates an electric motor (7) connected, through its shaft, to an impeller (5) actuated, by the same motor (7), to produce a stream of air through the air delivery duct (4). At least one electric resistor (6), powered to heat air as it passes through the delivery duct (4) is arranged along the delivery duct (4). The hair dryer (1) comprises at least one light source (8) suitable to emit light through the outlet of the air delivery duct (4). <IMAGE>
