[origin: EP1306211A1] The gripper/gripper shaft system has a gripper holder (2) attached to a gripper shaft (1) for partially enclosing the latter, with a bearing surface matching the outer contour of the gripper shaft and a gripper finger (3) rotated relative to the gripper holder, acted on by an adjustment element (10) and a coil spring (9). The bearing surface has a profile (12) engaging a counter-profile in the outside of the gripper shaft, the rotation axis (5) of the gripper finger lying on the outside of the gripper shaft.
