[origin: EP1306225A2] New pigment containing a multilayer recording material for ink-jet printers, a lower color sensitive layer comprises, e.g.: <??>(1) silica pigment; <??>(2) a silicic acid layer; <??>(3) one of optionally water soluble cationic polymer color fixing agent, and an upper color sensitive layer, which comprises, e.g.: <??>(1) a pyrogenic Al oxide pigment; and <??>(2) a water soluble plasticizer. <??>New pigment containing a multilayer recording material for ink-jet printers, a lower color sensitive layer comprises: <??>(1) silica pigment; <??>(2) a silicic acid layer; <??>(3) plasticizers; and <??>(4) one of optionally water soluble cationic polymer color fixing agent, and an upper color sensitive layer, which comprises: <??>(1) a pyrogenic Al oxide pigment; <??>(2) a water soluble plasticizer; <??>(3) a mixture of optionally water soluble cationic polymer color fixing agent; and <??>(4) a color stabilizer. <??>An Independent claim is also included for a process for preparation of the recording material involving: preparation of solutions for the color sensitive layers, deposition on support material, and drying.
