Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1306548A2] A distributing valve (33) is formed as a continuously adjustable valve, which is controlled by a control device based on the operating state of the internal combustion engine and/or the fuel injection system. The valve may be a single-stage three-way valve, with an input connected to the pressure side of a pre-conveying pump (1), an output connected to the suction side of pump elements (19), and a second input connected to the low pressure region of the fuel jetting pump (17). <??>Independent claims are also included for the following: <??>(1) a method of generating and supplying fuel; <??>(2) a control device for a fuel injection system; and <??>(3) a computer program.
