Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1306616A1] The gas burner (1) has a primary air conveying portion that sends primary air downstream of a gas injector (8). The primary air conveying portion comprises of apertures (21) and a communication passage (22) formed with cross-sections that allow primary air to flow from the exterior of a burner head (2) towards the gas injector with a flow rate appropriate to the operation of the burner. <??>The apertures are formed in the lateral wall region of the burner head free of flame orifices (4). The communication passage is formed in the burner head and isolated from the internal distribution chamber of the burner head. A venturi (15) receives and directs air and gas mixture (6) towards the distribution chamber. The flame orifices are formed on the lateral perimeter wall (3) of the burner head in communication with the distribution chamber.
