Abstract (en)
The infra-red heater for curing motor vehicle caulking has a panel (2) with a base plate (3) carrying an insulating panel (4) which is thermally and electrically insulating. The insulating panels supports heating strips (12) connected to an electric power source and emitting medium infra-red rays. An exterior upper panel (5) of low thermal inertia is positioned above the insulation and re emits long infra red waves.

Le dispositif, diffusant un rayonnement infrarouge de type "long", se présente comme un panneau (2), avec un élément de fond (3) du genre plaque ou bac, servant de support aux autres éléments. Un élément intermédiaire isolant (4), électriquement et thermiquement isolant, supporte sur sa face opposée à l'élément de fond (3) un ou des rubans métalliques chauffants (12), reliés à une source électrique et émettant un rayonnement infrarouge de type "moyen". Un élément extérieur (5), du genre plaque ou capot, et de faible inertie thermique, est maintenu devant l'élément intermédiaire (4), et réémet un rayonnement infrarouge de type "long". Ce dispositif est applicable à des traitements thermiques industriels. <IMAGE>
