Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1306620A1] The infra-red heater for curing motor vehicle caulking has a panel (2) with a base plate (3) carrying an insulating panel (4) which is thermally and electrically insulating. The insulating panels supports heating strips (12) connected to an electric power source and emitting medium infra-red rays. An exterior upper panel (5) of low thermal inertia is positioned above the insulation and re emits long infra red waves.
