[origin: EP1306638A2] The heat exchanger has stacked heat exchanger plates (1) defining 2 sets of flow channels (7a,7b) for respective flow mediums, communicating with corresponding flow medium entry and exit points (9,10; 11,12), respectively positioned at the top and bottom and on opposite sides of the heat exchanger. An intermediate plate between the heat exchanger plates is provided by 2 dished partial plates (15a,15b), together defining a space communicating with the side entry and exit points, with separation of one flow medium from the other within this space.
